We look through a great many cups to keep a few.

What we are

Ondo Studio is a shop that chooses cups from studios and sellers in China; we do not make them. Each page says where the cup was made and how, as the studio describes it.

Where the cups come from

Many come from Jingdezhen, the city that has made porcelain for a thousand years, and some from Dehua, known for its white porcelain. That history belongs to the cities. Each piece's page says only what its own seller states.

How they reach you

Each order is packed by our partner warehouse and sent by tracked air mail, in about 10 to 20 days. If a piece arrives broken or wrong, send us a photo and we refund it or send a new one. Help has the details.

The name

Ondo means temperature: 温度, read this way in Japanese and Korean and written the same in Chinese. A cup is the warmest thing you hold all morning.
