The gaiwan holds about 3.9 ounces and brews leaf tea right in the bowl, under its lid and on its own saucer. The three cups take three shapes: a square cup with four petals at the rim, a low footed petal cup and a round footed cup. Every piece is white porcelain painted by hand with red lychees and green leaves, each spray its own.
