How it is made
Raised from the clay, painted by hand, speckled by the kiln
Each motif is shaped up from the clay and painted by hand before the glaze goes on. The kiln moves the glaze color, so the cream turns toasted at the rim and the brown speckle lands differently on every cup. On Blossom the flower itself is the grip, Grove has an open loop, and Heart has a loop shaped like a heart. The cup holds 8.5 ounces and sits on a wavy saucer.
- Raised and painted by hand
The blossom, tree or heart is raised from the clay and painted by hand before glazing.
- Kiln-change glaze
The heat inside the kiln moves the glaze color, so the tone and speckle differ on every cup.
Japanese potters call it yōhen.

Questions
HelpWill mine look exactly like the photos?
The motif is painted by hand and the kiln sets the final tone, so the color and speckle on your cup will differ a little from the photo. No other cup will carry quite the same flecks. Shape, size and the way it is glazed stay as shown, so it will feel in the hand like the one in the photo, and the painting on it will be the one made for yours.
How do I care for it?
Wash by hand with warm water and a soft sponge. Avoid sudden changes of temperature, such as pouring boiling water into a cold cup.
When will it arrive?
Most orders arrive in about 10 to 20 days. The dates above the button are worked out for an order placed today, and we email tracking when the parcel leaves.
What if it arrives damaged or wrong?
Email support@ondostudio.shop within 14 days of delivery with a photo of the piece and the box. We send a replacement or refund that piece, whichever you prefer, and you do not need to send anything back.
Can I cancel or return it?
You can cancel free of charge until your order is packed, usually within 48 hours. Each order is packed for you, so we cannot take returns for a change of mind.
